Audio Settings

Get the most from Dreamsquare Cinema's audio — whether you're using headphones, a soundbar, or a full surround system.

Changing the audio language

  1. Start playing content.
  2. Tap the Audio icon (or the Subtitles icon, then switch to the Audio tab).
  3. Select your preferred language from the available options.

Surround sound

Dreamsquare Cinema supports 5.1 surround sound on compatible devices and content. To enable it:

  • Make sure your device is connected to a surround sound system via HDMI ARC, eARC, or optical.
  • In Profile Settings > Playback, ensure Surround Sound is set to Auto or Always On.
  • Your streaming device and receiver must both support Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus.

Audio not working?

  • No sound at all? Check your device volume, mute settings, and that the correct audio output is selected.
  • Audio out of sync? Try pausing and resuming playback, or restart the app.
  • Surround sound not activating? Verify your audio system supports the format and that the connection is secure. Try switching to stereo and back.
