Set up parental controls and child profiles

Parental Controls

Dreamsquare is a place for dreamers of all ages. With parental controls, you can create a safe and enchanting experience for younger readers and viewers.

Creating a child profile

1. Go to Profile Settings > Manage Profiles.
2. Tap Add Profile and select Child Profile.
3. Enter the child's name and date of birth.
4. Choose an avatar — there's a collection of magical characters to pick from.
5. Tap Save. The profile is now ready with age-appropriate filters active.

What child profiles include

• A curated library of books, audiobooks, and episodes suitable for the child's age group.
• Content ratings are enforced automatically — titles outside the age range are hidden.
• A simplified interface that's easy to navigate for younger readers.

Setting a profile PIN

To prevent children from switching to an adult profile:

1. Go to Profile Settings > Manage Profiles.
2. Select your adult profile and tap Set PIN.
3. Choose a 4-digit PIN. You'll need this PIN to switch to or edit adult profiles.

Adjusting content filters

You can fine-tune what's visible on a child profile at any time. Go to Manage Profiles, select the child profile, and adjust the Content Rating setting to match your preferences.
